This workshop is sponsored by Futures Evocative as a fundraiser for Building Strong Learning Environments in Disadvantaged Areas of the World and is lead by Dr Marcus Bussey in conjunction with yoga teacher Sanjaya Stephenson, Reiki practitioner, massage therapist, energy worker Jeannette Oliver and corporate mediation teacher Paul Tate. The aim of the weekend is to open up spirit, heart and mind to the natural rhythms of holistic writing. Many of us struggle to get the words that heal and uplift down on paper. This is particularly challenging when we must harness this force for academic or administrative purposes.

This workshop is about finding the alignment needed to take us beyond the surface of the words and task to the inner dimension in which writing for spirit, in communion can take any form. In this action we find that we are all connected in the sense of inter-being in which all actions touch upon one another and all consciousness flows across the landscape of spirit.

Sanjaya Stephenson

Yoga brings us into our bodies so that we can Be in the moment. Body is the basis for expression in this world - it is an act of love and loving. To love the body is to acknowledge and work with it as a plane of consciousness seeking the Divine. Yoga is a bridge to the Divine.

Jeannette Oliver

Meditation is a turning inward in order to fully appreciate the abundance and love in this universe. It is a soul conversation in which the meditator becomes a seeker within in order to go beyond ego and physical identification. It is an act of world loving and healing that aligns small self with Cosmic self. This alignment is the basis for deep and purposeful expression in the world. Words lie in our depths as Mantra - the majestic expression of deepened consiousness. Meditation is a direct path to deep and purposeful expression in life.

Paul Tate

Writing harnesses the creative self for even the driest task.It is one way to connect small self with the universe. It is also a direct act of service to the Earth. When the writer aligns inner self with bodily presence through meditation and yoga the rich possibilities of expression emerge. Those forces in our life - negative self image, fear of judgement, the weight of authorty, the doubt of ego, the disconnect of purpose with expression all fade away. Writing lightly is like walking lightly on this planet. It is an act of service and love. Weaving Words of Wisdom is an invitation to explore these and related issues with fellow travellers and deep seakers.

As we seek to align body with heart-mind and soul we appreciate the importance - the sacredness of food - so the weekend will feature the cooking artistry of Bellbunya's awesome cooking team. The food will be sentient_vegetarian and will fill all with a subtle and delightful energy.
